Jekyll and Hyde: Running this Website

It took me a while to get a github pages website up and running—but now I have it! The way that Jekyll runs is, honestly, very strange.

Jekyll works by preprocessing Markdown files into html files. That’s not the stange part. The strange part is that it is able to run a bunch of macros that, in a way, dynamically process the files into a quasi-dynamic website.
